Try Before You Buy - Free Trial Periods
How Free Trials Work:
Some subscription plans offer a free trial period - try the service before paying anything!
Example: 7-Day Free Trial
- Choose a plan with a trial period (clearly marked)
- Enter your payment information (required but not charged yet)
- Start using the service immediately
- Enjoy 7 days completely free
- 3 days before trial ends: We'll email you a reminder
- After 7 days:
- If you keep it: Your card is charged, subscription continues
- If you cancel: No charge at all, subscription ends
Trial periods range from 1 to 30 days depending on what the vendor offers.
Important: You must enter payment information to start a trial, but you won't be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

When you're away and don't need service:
- Click "Pause Subscription"
- Choose pause start and end dates

- What happens: No deliveries/services during pause, your end date extends automatically

- Original subscription: Jan 1 - Jan 31 (31 days)
- You pause: Jan 15-20 (6 days)
- New end date: Feb 6 (31 days of service, just spread out more)
Cancel Your Subscription
Changed your mind? Cancel anytime:
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Select reason (optional)
- Confirm cancellation
- If you're eligible for a refund: We calculate it automatically
- Refund processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days
Refund Example (Food Delivery Plan):
- Paid: $100 for 30-day subscription
- Used: 10 days
- Remaining: 20 days
- Refund: $66.67 (20 days worth)
Refund Example (Car Wash - Visit-Based):
- Paid: $150 for 15 car washes
- Used: 5 washes

Book & Manage Visits (For Service Businesses)
If your subscription includes specific visits (car wash, salon, gym sessions):
Book Your Visits Upfront
- After purchasing, go to "My Visits"
- See your available visits (e.g., "10 visits remaining")
- Click "Book a Visit"
- Choose date and time slot
- Confirm booking
- Receive confirmation email
Example: Car Wash Subscription
- You bought: 15 car washes valid for 60 days
- You book: Every Saturday morning for the next 2 months
- You can see all upcoming visits in one place
Reschedule a Visit
Plans changed? No problem:
- Go to "My Visits"
- Find the visit you want to change
- Click "Reschedule"
- Pick a new date and time
- Confirm
Rules:
- Must reschedule at least 1 day before the scheduled visit
- Visit count stays the same (it just moves to a new day)
Skip a Visit
Can't make it and don't want to reschedule?
- Click "Skip Visit"
- Confirm
- That visit is forfeit (you lose it)
Important: Skipped visits don't come back and don't count toward refunds.
Skip or Reschedule Deliveries (Delivery-Based Subscriptions)
For food delivery and similar subscriptions:
Skip a Delivery
Traveling? Already stocked up?
- Go to "Upcoming Deliveries"
- Find the date you want to skip
- Click "Skip This Delivery"
- Confirm
What happens:
- No delivery on that day
- No refund or credit (it's simply skipped)
- Great for when you're away or don't need that delivery
Reschedule a Delivery
Want it on a different day?
- Click "Reschedule Delivery"
- Choose a new date
- Confirm
- Your delivery moves to the new date
Rules:
- Must make changes at least 1 day in advance
- Can't skip or reschedule for today or tomorrow
Earn Rewards - Refer Friends & Get Points!
How the Referral Program Works:
Step 1: Get Your Referral Code
- After signing up, you automatically get a unique referral code
- Example: "REF-ABC123"
- Find it in your profile under "My Referral Code"
Step 2: Share with Friends
- Copy your code and share via text, email, or social media
- Your friend enters your code when they sign up
- They need to complete signup AND verify their account
Step 3: Earn Points!
When your friend successfully signs up:
- You instantly get points added to your wallet (e.g., 100 points)

After approval:

- Complete your business profile:

Connect Your Payment Account - Get Paid Directly
Why you need this: To receive payments from customers directly into your bank account.
Set Up Stripe (One-Time Process)
- In your dashboard, click "Payment Settings"
- Click "Connect Stripe Account"
- You'll be redirected to Stripe (secure payment processor)
- Fill in your business information:
- Business name and address
- Tax ID or business registration number
- Bank account details (for receiving payouts)

Charge customers fairly when they subscribe mid-month:

What is Prorated Billing?
When someone subscribes in the middle of a billing period, they only pay for the days they actually use.
Without Prorated Billing:
- Customer subscribes on January 15th
- Pays full $100 for January
- Only gets 16 days of service
- Not fair!
With Prorated Billing:
- Customer subscribes on January 15th
- System calculates: 16 days remaining ÷ 31 total days = 51.6% of month
- Customer pays: $100 × 51.6% = $51.60 for first billing
- Next billing (February 1st): Full $100 for complete month
- Fair pricing!
How It Works - Real Examples
Example 1: Monthly Meal Subscription
Plan: $90/month (30 days)
Customer subscribes: January 20th
Remaining days in January: 11 days
Prorated First Payment:
